Get ready for fun as PSD Night opens the 2025 edition of the Polk County Fair in Cedartown, a fundraiser for the Cedartown Exchange Club.
Polk School District Students and Staff get in free to the fair when gates open at 5 p.m.
The fair remains open tonight until 10 p.m.
Fairgoers will have several things on the list they can check out on opening night, with livestock shows for lambs and goats starting off the fun, and Student Playlist Night for musical entertainment.

Rides arrived on Tuesday and setup was completed this morning for everything from the Ferris Wheel to the kids-sized roller coaster, games, food and more.
The Exchange Club will be selling their famous footlong hotdogs, St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church will have tacos for sale, and a number of exhibitors have already gotten their booths setup in the exhibition hall at the front gates of the fairgrounds.
Additionally, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to collect tickets for a raffle they have underway for the 2025 Toys Express campaign. The lucky winner of the drawing set for October 1 will get a tri-fuel generator (gasoline, natural gas or propane.) Tickets are $5 per entry, and all proceeds will go toward purchasing toys and gifts during the holidays for youth in need and won’t otherwise have a Christmas.
Regular entry into the fair is $5 per adult and $3 per child.
Armbands tonight are $25 for unlimited rides.
Check back for more coverage from the 2025 Polk County Fair as it becomes available.
