Council members unavailable due to pre-planned trip, illness
One council member is out of town this week, and another is ill and won’t be able to participate in this month’s meeting of the Aragon City Council.
Per Mayor Judd Fee, a quorum isn’t available this week after one council member happens to be on vacation this week, and another is recovering from an illness that necessitated them missing this month’s meeting. With the two council members unable to attend, the meeting has been canceled and won’t be rescheduled for July.
The council will regroup and meet again for their August 21 work and regular sessions.
Aragon typically holds their City Council Work Session at 6 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month, with the Regular Session to follow at 7 p.m. at City Hall in the Council Meeting Room.
The public is always welcome and invited to attend sessions of the Aragon City Council.
Those who need to address the council should first coordinate with City Clerk Milena Herring about getting on the agenda to address the council. Call City Hall at 770-564-6563 for more information.
