Mrs. Betty Hindmon Williams

Mrs. Betty Hindmon Williams, age 87, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

She was born on December 11, 1938 in Antioch, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Levi Hindmon and Pearl Francis Broome Hindmon. 

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Donna Lee Williams Aaron (David); grandchildren, David Chad Aaron Jr., Johna Renee Aaron Chadwick (Jonathan), Jessie Newton (Draven) and Joseph Stephen Aaron; great-grandchildren, Jake Logan Chadwick and Oaklynn Rose Chadwick. 

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessee Seaborn Williams; sister, Mary Elizabeth Hindmon Jones; and brother, Fred Hindmon. 

A private interment service for Mrs. Williams will be held in the family lot of Sardis Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. 

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Hindmon Williams will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at twelve o’clock in the afternoon at Sardis Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Jerome Smith and Rev. Tim Cole officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers; Glen Paul Hamrick, Draven Ray Newton, Jonathan Chadwick, David Chad Aaron Sr., David Chad Aaron Jr., Joseph Stephen Aaron, Brandon Jones and Jared Butler.

Mrs. Annie Christine Richards

Mrs. Annie Christine Richards, age 84, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Saturday morning, January 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. 

Mrs. Richards was born in Haralson County on November 20, 1941, the daughter of the late Rice Eason Davis and the late Eva Myrteel Timms Davis.

A faithful member of Valley View Baptist Church, Mrs. Richards instilled faith and devotion onto her family and loved unconditionally. She loved her family and her Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Richards is preceded in death by her beloved husband, GB Richards; sons, Wayne Richards and David Eugene Richards; siblings, Robert Davis and Evelyn Timms; and grandson, Andrew Worley.

Mrs. Richards is survived by her son, Ray Richards (Chrystal); daughter-in-law, Carol Richards; grandchildren, Becky Worley, Tina Hall, Jessica Campbell, Eric Cardinas, David Richards, Lukas Richards, Anna McElwee, and Brysen Rainey; and great-grandchildren, Katie Campbell, Kimmie Campbell, Wyatt Campbell, Abbie Campbell, Meridith Richards, Deegan Richards, Valerie McElwee, Eleanor McElwee, Joshua Worley, Chelsea Worley, Timothy Hall, Emily Hall, and Tiffany Hall.

Funeral services for Mrs. Richards will be conducted Wednesday January 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church with Revs. John Redding and Randy Vines officiating. Interment will follow in the Valley View Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at 3:00 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church.
