Betty Jane Wray

Mrs. Betty Jane Wray, age 75, of Cedartown, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026.

Mrs. Wray was born March 5, 1950, in Cedartown, Georgia, daughter of the late Hubert Weaver and Bernice Hughes Weaver.

Mrs. Wray enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Behavior Specialist at Murphy Harpst Children’s Home, where she made a meaningful difference in the lives of many children. She found great joy in spending time in her yard and caring for her animals, especially her beloved cats and dogs. A devoted homemaker, she poured her heart into caring for her family. As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she made sure her family always knew how deeply they were loved. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work, steadfast love, and genuine compassion.

Mrs. Wray is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Steve Wray; sons: Matthew Wray and his wife, Kaci, and Nick Wray and his wife, Lauren; grandchildren: Holland Wray, Carsen Gilliland, Izzy Gilliland, and Jett Wray; lifelong friend, Susan Howard; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM, in the Lime Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Michael Jack Goss officiating.

Mrs. Reba Caldwell, age 73, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, February 6, 2026.

Funeral services for Mrs. Caldwell will be held Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Fairview Baptist Church building fund in memory of Mrs. Caldwell.
