Mr. Bobby Glenn Formby, age 71, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Wednesday evening, January 11, 2023.
Bobby was born in Cedartown on June 14, 1951, a son of the late Robert F. Formby and Evelyn Ingle Formby.
He had lived all his life in Polk County and was a member of Euharlee Baptist Church. Bobby had worked with J L Lester & Son for many years as a truck driver.
He enjoyed playing the ukulele and loved fishing.
In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Ann McChargue.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Holland Formby of Lindale, GA, whom he married February 10, 2012; daughter, Cynthia Dawn (Jason) Childers of Wisconsin; son, Robert Shawn Formby of Aragon, GA; three grandchildren, Ashley Loveless, Justin Ezzell and Robert Taylor Formby; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Levon Ward, and Tina (Anthony) Nixon, both of Aragon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In keeping with his wishes, Bobby will be cremated, and no formal services are planned.
Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home and Crematory has charge of the arrangements for Mr. Bobby Glenn Formby.
