Mrs. Carol Marie Binger

The thoughtful, loving, and generous Mrs. Carol Marie Binger, age 78, of Cave Spring, Georgia, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025. She was born in Buffalo, NY, but called Cave Spring her home for most of her life.

Always a bridge between family members and generations, and filled with unending love, Carol was the heart and glue for the Gardner family. Regardless of the large numbers of family members, every person received a birthday or anniversary card from Carol and every baby born was gifted with a hand-crafted blanket. Prioritizing annual week-long reunions since 1976, Carol insured that as many as possible of the 60 plus family members as attended.

Carol is survived by her siblings: Marcy (Kevin) Johnson, Rob (Michele) Gardner, Al (Diane) Gardner, Nancy Gardner, David (Chris) Gardner; sisters-in-law, Sherry Worton and Stacey Stafford; 21 nieces and nephews, 25 great nieces and nephews; and a close group of very dear friends.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Mary Jo Gardner; husband, Stuart Paul Binger; sisters, Mary E. Gardner and JoAnne Waldrop.

In accordance with Carol’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial celebration of her life will be scheduled at the convenience of her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her memory can be made to Our House Thrift Store, 5604 S. Main St., Cedartown, GA 30125, a ministry to which Carol was deeply devoted.

Messages of condolence can be made to the family by visiting our website and signing the online guestbook at gammagefh.com.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted in the services for Mrs. Carol Marie Gardner Binger.
