Mr. Charles Jackson Knox, age 83, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, August 8, 2023.
Mr. Knox was born in San Antonio, TX, on July 26, 1940, son of the Charles Jackson Knox and Catherine Murry Knox.
He lived in Pensacola, FL prior to moving to Rockmart six years ago. Mr. Knox was an iron worker in high-rise construction and loved fishing and bargain shopping.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Knox was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Lenze.
Mr. Knox is survived by four children, Charles Jackson Knox, Cynthia Lynn (Steve) Acker, Diana Henn, and Jimmy Ray Knox. Eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Knox will be cremated, and no formal service is planned at this time.
Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the arrangements for Mr. Charles Jackson Knox.
