Mr. Curtis Ray Camp, age 78, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday morning, May 23, 2026.

Mr. Camp was born December 18, 1947, the son of the late Wesley Ray Camp, Sr. and the late Betty Jo Barganier Camp (Baldwin) .

Mr. Camp spent his life working as a manufacturing professional in a paper mill, a job that required much dedication and hard work. After retiring from his career in the paper mill, Mr. Curtis loved to enjoy the simple things in life.

He loved resting and relaxing and enjoying his retirement to the fullest. He was a kind man who always had a kind word and a smile to offer. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Camp is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Allen Camp; step-brothers, Billy Wayne Pickren, Jerry Wayne Baldwin, Seals Mitchell Baldwin, Sr., and Jimmy Ray Baldwin; and step-father, Seals Hester Baldwin.

Mr. Camp is survived by his loving siblings, Deborah Ann Camp, Terry Lynn Locklear, Wesley Ray Camp, Jr., and Charles Calvin Camp (Janice); step-brother, Robert Liepelt (Karla); and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.

In keeping with his desire to help others, Mr. Camp donated his body to medical science in an effort to help advances in medical research. Following his donation to science, Mr. Camp will be cremated and a graveside inurnment service will be conducted at a later date.
