Daniel Kevin Baumtrog

Mr. Daniel Kevin Baumtrog, age 71, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Mr. Baumtrog was born May 3, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, son of the late Jack Baumtrog and Marilyn Heinz Baumtrog.

Mr. Baumtrog had a deep love for the outdoors and found great joy in spending time in nature. Whether hunting or fishing, he cherished every opportunity to be outside. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who gave his whole heart to everything he did.

Above all, he loved his family and treasured the time he spent with them. Known for his wonderful sense of humor, he enjoyed making others laugh and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those around him will be remembered always, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baumtrog is preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Baumtrog; brother, Tom Baumtrog; and sister, Suzanne Baumtrog.

Mr. Baumtrog is survived by his wife, Linda Baumtrog; children: Kevin Durnil and his wife, Elizabeth, and Cindy Miller; and siblings: Joseph Baumtrog, Paul Baumtrog, Mike Baumtrog, Andy Baumtrog, Dave Baumtrog, and Maryann Baumtrog.
