Mrs. Dorothy Marie Weldon, age 63, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Friday morning, September 20, 2024, at her residence.
Dorothy was born in St. Louis, MO, on January 9, 1961, a daughter of the late Lawrence Craden and Yvonne Smith Craden.
She had lived her childhood years in Missouri and has lived in Rockmart for the past 20 years. Dorothy was a house and homemaker who also had a cleaning business. She enjoyed bird watching, especially hummingbirds, and collecting arrowheads.
Dorothy was known for her beautiful hair and had an enduring love for her girls and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Frankie, and three sisters, Pat, Debbie, and Yvette.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Thomas William Weldon, whom she married in 1996; three children, Janet Anderson, Valerie Weldon, and Elizabeth Weldon; two grandchildren, Tobias Daniels and Atlas Weldon; brother, Larry Craden.
