Police are seeking a Rockmart woman after video evidence from Dollar General surveillance cameras showed that she dropped a bag of suspected methamphetamine on the ground at the register, which was later spotted by a customer after she left the store.
According to a Polk County Police report, a Tina Evelyn Bagley is being sought on active warrants after she was spotted by Dollar General personnel on the store’s security camera system dropping the baggie of meth out of a rear pocket when paying for items at the cash register in an incident reported on June 23.
Police reported that another patron made a cashier aware of the drugs on the floor at the Dollar General at 1798 Buchanan Highway, and the cashier grabbed a store bag to pick up the evidence and bring it to the back room, where Polk County Police were called in and watched the footage as well.
Both the personnel and police were able to identify Bagley, and a warrant for possession of methamphetamine is currently active for her arrest.
Police are asking anyone who knows her whereabouts to contact 911 immediately, or the Polk County Police Department at 770-748-7331.
