Mr. Edward C. “Eddie” Carter Jr., age 70, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Wednesday evening, July 2, 2025.
Eddie was born on May 8, 1955, son of the late Edward C. Carter, Sr., and Catherine Alura Rogers Carter.
He was a graduate of Rockmart High School, a veteran of the United States Navy and the National Guard. Eddie was a machinist with Jefferson Southern.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by a brother, David Paul Carter.
Eddie is survived by two sisters, Patricia Eaves and Karen Stewart; three brothers, Tim Carter, Bobby Carter, and Neal Carter. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In keeping with his wishes, Eddie will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
