Francisco Gonzalez Duena

Delta, Utah – Francisco Gonzalez Duena, 73, passed away on Wednesday, November 13th at his home.

He was born on October 4th, 1951 in Matanzas, Cuba to Roberto Gonzales and Ines Duena. He was married to Anne Duena in Cedartown, Georgia.

He came on the Mariel boat lift from Cuba in 1980.

He arrived in Florida then went to Georgia where he lived and worked all of his life in carpet mills, after he retired he got sick and he moved with his daughter Gilda Bell and her mother Rose Bell who took care of him until he passed away.

He loved spending time with family, going to church and animals. 

He is survived by his children, Gilda Bell, Francisco Manuel Duena, Randy White, Bonnie White. His grandchildren, Ashley Reyes, Joanna Reyes, Odilia Reyes, Xiomara Duena, Amari Taylor, Aiden Taylor, Josh White, Gloria Reyes, Jaquelin Davis. His great-grandchildren Yatziri Jimenez Reyes, Eliana Reyes, Ivan Reyes, Alikai Davis, Xena Davis. His nieces and nephews Ben White, Davie White, Momo White, Tanya White, April White, Jennifer Cervantes. 

The family will hold a visitation on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Litesey Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Litesey Funeral Home. Internment will be in the family lot at Northview Cemetery.

Floyd Earl Anderson Jr.

Floyd Earl Anderson Jr., age 70, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday afternoon, January 19, 2026.

Mr. Anderson was born in Cedartown, Georgia, on December 27, 1955, a son of the late Floyd Anderson, Sr. and Dorothy Faye Milam Anderson.

He spent the greater part of his life in Rockmart and was of the Baptist faith. After 36 years of dedicated service, Mr. Anderson retired from Meggitt, where he was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.  Above all, Mr. Anderson was a devoted family man who cherished time with those he loved. He had a deep love for music and found joy in playing the guitar, and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Anderson.

Mr. Anderson is survived by two sons, Jonathan (Cheri) Anderson, and Jesse (Jessica) Anderson; two sisters, Kathy (Larry) Grimes, and Vickie Polston; brother, Terry Shores. Eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Anderson will be held on Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Shores officiating.

Mr. Anderson’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
