Fred Gore

Mr. Fred Michael Gore, age 79, of Aragon, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Mr. Gore was born on September 12, 1946, to the late Frank Elam Gore and the late Gladys Gardner Gore. He spent much of his life in Woodstock, Georgia, before making his home in Aragon in the early 2000s where he was a member of Rockmart First Methodist Church.

Fred had a deep love for the water and especially enjoyed fishing and sailing. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat Gore; and daughter, Jennifer Gore.

Fred is survived by his three sons, Michael Gore (Lisa), Brian Gore (Jennifer), and Brandon Gore (Tiffany); his six grandchildren, Joey, Jesse, Ethan, Nolan, Jackson, and Colton; and his brothers, Frank Gore (Neda), Randy Gore (Cindy), and Ronnie Gore. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Fred will be held Friday, May 8th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Blackmon officiating and eulogy given by his son, Michael Gore. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Fred’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 7th from 5:00 until 7:00 pm.
