Mr. Gary Dan Floyd, Jr. age 30, of Rome, GA passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022.
Mr. Floyd was born in Richland SC, on February 22, 1992, a son of Gary Dan Floyd, Sr. and Sherri Lynn Hurley Floyd.
He had lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart and Floyd County. Gary had a love for music and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Dan Floyd, Sr.; and his grandparents: Danny and Doris Floyd and Carolyn Hurley.

Survivors include his mother, Sherri Floyd (James Davis); son, Jacob Ryan Smith; brothers and sisters: Samuel Jasen Bell, Codi Floyd Bell, David Floyd, Jeremy Harmon, Kristy Harmon, Grey Carmona, Kevin Hoover, Ashley Hoover and Derrick Pope; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Thomas officiating.
