Gina Glenn Harris

Gina Glenn Harris, age 59, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Sunday evening, April 5, 2026, at her residence.

Gina was born in Rockmart on May 19, 1966, daughter of the late Banks Ezzell and Dorothy Tucker Ezzell. She lived her entire life in Rockmart and was employed with Lakeside Nursery. Gina enjoyed gardening, fishing, horseback riding, and spending time outdoors. She attended Faith Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by a daughter, Chelsea Bright, and three brothers, David Ezzell, Rodney Ezzell, and Eddie Ezzell.

Gina is survived by a daughter, Chanda Eaton (Josh); grandchildren, Kaden Cash and Luke Cash; sisters, Dianne Brandon (W.M. “Woody”), and Michelle Leggett; brother, Gerald Ezzell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Gina will be held on Thursday afternoon, April 9, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating.

Larry “Bushwacker” Brown


Obituaries

Mr. Larry “Bushwacker” Brown, age 66, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Larry was born in Cedartown, Georgia, to the late J.C. Brown and Betty Garrett Brown, on August 15, 1959.

He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. In his free time, he found joy in the simple things—riding the back roads, singing karaoke with friends, and spending time working on cars. He also had a love for music, often picking up a guitar and playing for those around him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Jimmy Brown; nephews, Kevin Brown and Kenneth Brown; long-time friend, Jerone Jackson.

Larry is survived by his children Keith Brown (Alisha), Daniel Brown (Lindsey Reece), and Jadya Brown; twelve grandchildren; brother, Terry Brown (Diane Glover); sister-in-law, Belinda Brown. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services for Larry “Bushwacker” Brown will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Reverend Justin Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Piedmont, Alabama.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
