The 2022 Great American Cleanup is scheduled for month’s end, and volunteers are being sought for efforts being undertaken in both Cedartown and Rockmart.

The Saturday, April 30 event is seeking help from those who want to help with cleanup efforts starting at 9 a.m.

Efforts in Cedartown are being organized around a meeting spot at Peek’s Park in the parking lot next to the tennis courts, and in Rockmart at Seaborn Jones Park.

Keep Polk Beautiful’s annual cleanup event for the spring will provide supplies for willing participants, as well as drinks and snacks provided by the Cook Farm.

Anyone who wants more information can contact KPB Executive Director Randy Cook at 678-246-1083.
