Humane Society Pets of the Week – January 5, 2026

Polk Today provides this weekly feature promoting dogs and cats up for adoption at the Cedartown Polk County Humane Society. Please consider providing these pets a loving home or tell those who might be interested about their availability.

Pinky

This Aussiedoodle mix is a twenty nine pound three year old.  This sweet girl is loveable and playful.  She is a little shy and she is deaf.  She does know hand signals and she is very well behaved.  She is hoping that someone out there will be willing to take a chance on her.  Could that be you?     She is housebroken, okay with other dogs, cats, and children and is hoping to find her furever home very soon.

As with all our dogs, Pinky has been tested for heartworms, vaccinated appropriate for age, spayed, and microchipped.  Microchip registration is included in the adoption fee.  All our pets are given flea and heartworm preventatives monthly.

Peaches

This sweet Aussiedoodle girl is playful and loveable.  She is three years old and weighs about twenty nine pounds.  She is housebroken, good with cats, other dogs, and with kids.  She is deaf, but she knows hand signals and is hoping there is someone out there that would love to take her home.
