The City of Cedartown’s Public Works department will have the road closed for a few more days after beginning a project late in the week this past Thursday.
City workers are replacing a 42-inch storm drain line near the intersection at 9th Street and West Girard Avenue, and the project is set to wrap up on Wednesday, weather permitting.
The stretch of 9th Street from the HON Company parking lot to West Girard Avenue will remain closed until the replacement of the storm drain is completed.
