Jane Lumpkin

In Loving Memory of Jane Lumpkin

Jane Lumpkin was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on October 18th, 2024, at the age of 75.

She was born on January 23rd, 1949, to Dot and Tifton Langley. While attending Cedartown High School, Jane met the love of her life, Harry Lumpkin. Together they built a beautiful life raising two sons, Trace and Trent. Jane and Harry called Hampton, Virginia home for many years before returning to Cedartown in 2004 to care for their family’s health and well-being.

Jane embraced her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother wholeheartedly, always placing her family’s needs first. She was a kind-hearted, vibrant woman who cherished her family and friends deeply, loved taking care of others, and radiated warmth to everyone she met.

Her bubbly and talkative nature gave her a unique ability to make others feel instantly at ease. She could effortlessly engage in conversation for hours, always eager to share stories from her life and connect with others.

Jane’s love for her family was endless, and she took immense pride in her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Trent and Trace, and daughter-in-law Sherry; her grandchildren, Austin, Caroline, Savanna, Gabriela, and grandson-in-law Ethan; her sister and brother-in-law Jill and Kevin; her nieces Ashley and Tiffany, and several cousins. She will be dearly missed, but her warmth, care, and endless stories will live on in our hearts and memories forever. May she rest in everlasting peace, knowing the legacy of her kindness and joy continues to surround all who loved her.

Graveside services for Mrs. Lumpkin will be conducted Saturday October 26 at 1:00 PM in the Northview Cemetery of Cedartown.
