Joyce Nureen Hutchings, age 89, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
Mrs. Hutchings was born in Hanover, NH, on August 16, 1934, daughter of the late Earl Eugene Robinson and Anna Mae Morse Robinson.
She spent her childhood years in Hartford, VT, and graduated from Hartford High School in 1952. Mrs. Hutchings had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart, GA.
She was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion.

Mrs. Hutchings was a schoolteacher while serving in the Army and was a lover of animals.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutchings was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest G. “Pete” Hutchings, Jr., on March 6, 2007, whom she married November 11, 1964.
Mrs. Hutchings is survived by a brother, Stanley E. Robinson; nieces, Laurie Haman and Samantha Pause.
In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Hutching will be cremated, and her ashes will be interred beside her husband, Pete, in Rose Hill Cemetery.
