Mr. Kevin Thomas Cuzzourt

Mr. Kevin Thomas Cuzzourt, age 35, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born on June 5, 1987 in Floyd County. He was the son of Mr. Hollis Clifton Cuzzourt, Jr. and Mrs. Janet Rainey Cuzzourt.

Kevin graduated from Cedartown High School in 2005, where he played French horn in the band and was an active member of the National Honor Society. After high school, Kevin attended the University of Georgia.

Kevin will be remembered for his generous and giving nature. In recent years, he dedicated himself to the care of his family. He was a voracious reader and avid cook.

He cultivated a wide range of interesting knowledge which he enjoyed sharing with his younger family members.

Mr. Cuzzourt is survived by his parents; grandmother, Bobbie Cuzzourt; sister, Verena Yawn (Jeff); brother, Jeremy Cuzzourt; Kristin Cuzzourt; uncles, aunts, and cousins; and beloved nephews, Auden Cuzzourt and Finnan Yawn.

Mr. Cuzzourt is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hollis Clifton Cuzzourt, Sr. and Thomas Marland and Dorothy Gann Rainey; and uncle, John “JP” Cuzzourt.

The funeral service for Mr. Kevin Thomas Cuzzourt will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Hearne officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Cuzzourt will receive family and friends on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from one o’clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jeremy Cuzzourt, Jeff Yawn, Ronald Walters, Oliver Cuzzourt, Adam Brumit and Andrew Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Cuzzourt and Don Robinson.
