Letters to Santa: First part of a big batch from YGES

|

|

What do they say when you’re in need: Ask and ye shall receive?

That’s what happened on Friday after I had waited for over a month for some more Letters to Santa to come in this year, and boy howdy did I get a haul!

This first batch of letters came in thanks to Mrs. Kirsch from Youngs Grove Elementary School. To make it easier on yours truly on the typing side of things, this year I’ve decided the easier route is to just post the letters as I received them as photos.

A second and third rounds of letters will be available through the rest of the week to ensure that Santa has no chance of missing this year’s wish lists (and timely letters of appreciation.) Note: this year’s batch included some drawings and such on the front and back of letters, so I have included both sides where applicable in the slideshow below.

You’ve got until this Friday, December 19 to finish sending your letters into polktoday@gmail.com to participate in this year’s round.

Merry Christmas to all!

Tuesday saw the City of Aragon kick off the year with a swearing-in ceremony for two council members set to start off their year this evening at city hall.

Council Member Dickie Gazaway and new council member Travis Haney were sworn into office on Tuesday afternoon by Judge Bobby Brooks, joined by Mayor Judd Fee and family for the event.
