Mr. Loren Patric Hulsey Sr., age 66, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, in a Rome medical center.
Mr. Hulsey was born in Dallas, GA on March 9, 1960, a son of the late Patric Harrison Hulsey and the late Mary Alline Taylor Hulsey.
He had lived the greater part of his life in Aragon. Mr. Hulsey enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was an ordained gospel preacher. Mr. Hulsey was a self-employed contractor.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hulsey was preceded in death by a son, Travis Joseph Hulsey; by a brother William Theo Hulsey and by sisters: Leona Harper, Cathy Teresa Hulsey and Linda Sue Hulsey.
Mr. Hulsey is survived by his companion, Lori Meinke; son, Loren Patric Hulsey, Jr. (Marci); daughter, Laranda Hulsey; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Richie Hulsey and Grady Patric Hulsey (Yvonne Schaub); four sisters, Junnie Wysner, Vanessa Johnson, Cindy Brown and Tish Hayes. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Hulsey will be held on Thursday afternoon, June 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Dereck Tilley and Scooter Brown officiating.
Mr. Hulsey’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
