Mrs. Louise Bradshaw

Mrs. Louise Bradshaw, age 95, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born April 3, 1929 to the late William and Mattie Spivey.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bradshaw is preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman Bradshaw; daughters, Judy Bradshaw and Patricia Elaine Bradshaw; and siblings, Elmer Spivey and Ida Mae Cook.

Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her loving son, Ricky Bradshaw (Wendy); grandchildren, Dana Converse (Steven), Kristi Bentley (Daniel), Cindy East (Brad), and Jerod Hulsey; great-grandchildren, Christopher Wisener, Kirsten Brock, Brandon Bentley, Bryce East, Brett East, and Kodah Hulsey; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bradshaw will be conducted Wednesday June 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Grant officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery of Cedartown. The family will receive friends Wednesday June 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the service hour at 1:00 PM at Litesey Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Bradshaw requested that donations be made to the Cedartown Church of God.

Larry “Bushwacker” Brown


Obituaries

Mr. Larry “Bushwacker” Brown, age 66, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Larry was born in Cedartown, Georgia, to the late J.C. Brown and Betty Garrett Brown, on August 15, 1959.

He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. In his free time, he found joy in the simple things—riding the back roads, singing karaoke with friends, and spending time working on cars. He also had a love for music, often picking up a guitar and playing for those around him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Jimmy Brown; nephews, Kevin Brown and Kenneth Brown; long-time friend, Jerone Jackson.

Larry is survived by his children Keith Brown (Alisha), Daniel Brown (Lindsey Reece), and Jadya Brown; twelve grandchildren; brother, Terry Brown (Diane Glover); sister-in-law, Belinda Brown. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services for Larry “Bushwacker” Brown will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Reverend Justin Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Piedmont, Alabama.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
