Mr. Lowell Norman Thompson, age 76 of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026. He was born on May 5, 1949 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was the son Truitt and Alma Spradley Thompson.
Mr. Thompson was an United States Navy Veteran. He worked and retired from At&T with 30 years of loyal service. Mr. Thompson was a devoted Christian and loved his family more than anything.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his daughters, Josie Fowler (John) and Ruth Fowler (Dan); grandchildren, Kendra McGee (Corey), Eryn Fowler (Chris), Kyla Fowler (Dylan), Danielle Fowler, Breanna Fowler, Caleb Fowler, Thomas Fowler, JJ Fowler and Nathaniel Fowler and great-grandchildren, Elijah Fowler and Phoenix Moore.
Mr. Thompson is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlene Curtis Thompson and grandchildren, Joni Ann Fowler, Luke Floyd Fowler, Samuel Floyd Fowler and Grace Ann Fowler.
In keeping with Mr. Thompson’s wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held in the coming days at his home.
