Miss Lyquiva “Robin” Osburn, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 66.

Miss Osburn was born October 6, 1957 in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, the daughter of the late Bobby L. Osburn and Margaret Lively Osburn.

Miss Osburn was a loving mother, always looking out for the best interest of her children. She spent her career as a food inspector for the USDA, retiring after almost thirty years in the industry.

For a portion of her life Miss Osburn lived on the lake, and doing so gave her much joy. She enjoyed spending her days by the water. She was a fun loving person with a sweet disposition. Her presence will be missed in the lives of all who knew and loved her.

Miss Osburn is survived by her children: Dylan Mesta and Cody Mesta, and his fiancé, Priscilla Farmer; and siblings: Lynn Ray, Lisa Frist, Robby Osburn, Larry Osburn, Kim Massey, and Sandy Turnipseed.

There are currently no formal services planned.

Mr. Johnny “Mike” Whitfield

Mr. Johnny “Mike” Whitfield, age 77, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026.  

He was born on March 27, 1948. He was the son of the late John Parker Whitfield and Edith Ann Whitfield Willingham. 

Mr. Whitfield is survived by his son, Brian Whitfield and several other extended family members. 

Mr. Whitfield is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Renee Willingham Whitfield and brother, Howard Glenn Whitfield. 

A graveside service for Mr. Whitfield will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the family lot in Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating.
