Mrs. Maria De La Luz Zamudio Cornejo, age 43 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
She was born on November 12, 1981 in Mexico. She was the daughter of Carolos Zamudio Garacia and Gabriela Cornejo Cruz.
Mrs. Cornejo is survived by her parents; husband, Nicolas Guzman; daughters, Dulce Guzman, Dana Guzman, and Darline Guzman; son, Oscar Guzman; sisters, Rosario Zamudio, Juama Zamudio, and Perla Zamudio; and brothers, Jose Zamudio, Juam Carlos Zamudio, Antonio Zamudio, and Orlando Zamudio.
The family of Mrs. Cornejo will receive family and friends on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 and Thursday, March 6, 2025 from six o’clock in the evening until nine o’clock in the evening (both nights) at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Cornejo will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at one o’clock in the afternoon at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church with Father Timothy Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Nicolas Guzman, Oscar Guzman, Jose Zamudio, Juam Carlos Zamudio, Antonio Zamudio, and Orlando Zamudio.

La misa fúnebre de la Sra. Cornejo se llevará a cabo el viernes 7 de marzo de 2025 a la una de la tarde en la Iglesia Católica St. Bernadette y estará a cargo del padre Timothy Gallagher. El entierro se realizará en el cementerio Northview.
