Mr. Marvin Lamar Hamby, age 69 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025. He was born on May 11, 1956 in Marietta, Georgia, he was the son to the late Pickens and Rosie May Payne Hamby.
Mr. Hamby is survived by his sisters, Shirley Hamby, Daisey Mae Dean and Janie Bean; brother, Charles Hamby; several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Mr. Hamby is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jimmie Ruth Ruynan and Barbara Ann Phillips and brothers, Robert Hamby, Howard Hamby, William Earl Hamby and Jack Rainor.
In keeping with Mr. Hamby’s wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Hamby will be held at a later time.
