Ms. Mary Inez Bowman, age 94 of Jacksonville AL, passed away August 1st, 2026.
She was born in Cedartown, Georgia on June 11, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Mr. Lloyd and Mrs. Annie Blake Carter.
Ms. Bowman is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, James R. Bowman; daughter, Mary Rohrer; sister, Francis Morris; brother, Bobby Carter; and granddaughter, Serena Parks.
She is survived her daughter, Martha Hughes; granddaughter, Amanda Jones; and several great-grandchildren also survive.
The family of Ms. Mary Inez Bowman will receive family and friends on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 2pm-4pm. The funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery in Cedartown.
