Mary Jane Ward

Mrs. Mary Jane Ward, age 63, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026.

Mrs. Ward was born July 7, 1962, in Carrollton, Georgia, daughter of the late Aurther Cleve Turner and Peggy Jane Beckom Turner.

Mrs. Ward enjoyed traveling to the mountains any time she could. She had a special love for her “fur puppies.” In her spare time, she enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and watching Stephen King movies. More than anything, she loved and cherished her family. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ward is preceded in death by her sisters: Peggy Turner and Janice Turner; grandparents: Cleveland and AnnieMae Turner, and Tommy and Opal Beckom; and multiple aunts and uncles.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, Mr. Austin “B.J.” Ward; children: Justin Ward (Laura), and Kimberly Miranda Ward; grandchildren: Dustin Ward, Aiden Ward, and Ashlyn Ward; brother-in-law, Terry Dentmon, Jr.; and several aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
