Covenant Christian School began their latest school year in August with a move to a new Church hosting their campus, and now they’ve gotten to expand a bit as well in recent weeks with the start of the calendar year.
CCS announced this morning that students returned back to classes for Middle and High School grades with their own modular space at Cedar Lake Christian Center that opened last week.
The new space was renovated with the help of those same students during the fall after the move to the church from New Harmony Baptist Church on Prior Station Road, where they were previously hosted over the past few years.
The expansion comes as CCS has grown over the years to host more students in Pre-K through 12th grades, and have begun hosting sports teams as well with Middle School basketball and Volleyball programs.
CCS hosts more than 100 students annually since they started in 2010.
