Mr. Carl Fred (Tom) Maulding, age 86, of Rockmart passed away Monday, August 24, 2020.
He was born in Rockmart, GA on July 12, 1934, a son of the late Cleo Maulding, Sr. and the late Thelma Estelle Harris Maulding. Mr. Maulding had lived all of his life in Rockmart where he was a member of the Morning View Baptist Church. He worked as a mechanic for twenty years followed by eighteen years as security at Tip-Top Poultry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two twin daughters: Brenda Williams and Glenda Maulding; sister, Marie Brownlow; and brother, Cleo Maulding, Jr.
Survivors include his wife of twenty nine years, Elizabeth Ann McDonald Maulding of Rockmart, to whom he was married on January 27, 1992; three daughters: Vickie Hayes (Ricky), Rockmart, Denisa Estes (Terry), Cedartown and Serrina Moss (John), Griffin; two sons: Clayton Maulding, Alabama and Shawn Maulding, Cedartown; five step-children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Wills, Cedartown; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday August 29, 2020 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include: Jonathan Hayes, Shannon Hayes, Terry Estes, John Moss, Ricky Hayes, Michael McEntyre and Leonard McEntyre.
The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are recommended.

Floyd Earl Anderson Jr., age 70, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday afternoon, January 19, 2026.
Mr. Anderson was born in Cedartown, Georgia, on December 27, 1955, a son of the late Floyd Anderson, Sr. and Dorothy Faye Milam Anderson.
He spent the greater part of his life in Rockmart and was of the Baptist faith. After 36 years of dedicated service, Mr. Anderson retired from Meggitt, where he was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Above all, Mr. Anderson was a devoted family man who cherished time with those he loved. He had a deep love for music and found joy in playing the guitar, and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Anderson.
Mr. Anderson is survived by two sons, Jonathan (Cheri) Anderson, and Jesse (Jessica) Anderson; two sisters, Kathy (Larry) Grimes, and Vickie Polston; brother, Terry Shores. Eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Anderson will be held on Thursday afternoon, January 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Shores officiating.
Mr. Anderson’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
