Mr. Floyd Euzeal Jones

Mr. Floyd Euzeal Jones, age 81, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020.  He was born on July 1, 1939 in Cedartown.  He was the son of the late Clyde Andrew and Estelle Jarrell Jones.

Mr. Jones was a faithful member of the Victory Baptist Church family.

Mr. Jones is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Patricia Garner Jones; daughter, Alana Jones; son, Greg Jones (Linda James); sister-in-laws, Marsha Brown and Yvonne Garner; brothers-in-law, Johnny Garner (Kim), Mike Garner (Renee), Terry Garner (Janelle), Jimmy Garner, Brian Jones,  and David Holcomb; grandchildren; Jessica Jones Guice, Savannah Thompson (Zach) and Ethan Rae Jones (Lindsey Hayden); great-grandchildren, Carli Guice, Jenna Wilson, and Maci Guice; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Teresa Garner Jones; brothers-in-law, Joel Garner and Phil Brown; and grandson, Eric Guice.

In accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines a private service will be held for Mr. Jones’ immediate family.

    mr. jones was one of the most wonderful men i ever knew,i remember when i 1st met him he was cutting hair with mr. powell in what we called “furnaceville .he cut my sons hair for the 1st time in about 1969 and he kept cutting it till he grew up….he was a very likeable person, always friendly and seemed to never forget anyone he will truly be missed pat is also a wonderful person i guess most of the polk school kids know her from the bus…..truly a beautiful family GOD bless his family and give them comfort

Mr. Larry “Bushwacker” Brown, age 66, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Larry was born in Cedartown, Georgia, to the late J.C. Brown and Betty Garrett Brown, on August 15, 1959.

He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, rarely missing a chance to cheer them on. In his free time, he found joy in the simple things—riding the back roads, singing karaoke with friends, and spending time working on cars. He also had a love for music, often picking up a guitar and playing for those around him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Jimmy Brown; nephews, Kevin Brown and Kenneth Brown; long-time friend, Jerone Jackson.

Larry is survived by his children Keith Brown (Alisha), Daniel Brown (Lindsey Reece), and Jadya Brown; twelve grandchildren; brother, Terry Brown (Diane Glover); sister-in-law, Belinda Brown. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services for Larry “Bushwacker” Brown will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home, with Reverend Justin Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Piedmont, Alabama.

His family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.

The Smith & Miller Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Larry “Bushwacker” Brown.
