Mr. Stanley Shaw

Mr. Stanley Shaw, age 60, of Cedartown, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020.

Stan was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 1, 1960 to the late Johnny “Jake” Shaw and the late Bertha “Tina” Norton Shaw. Stan and a huge passion for motorcycles, old cars. He was the type of person that never met a stranger and would talk to anyone. Stan was employed with Wal-Mart in Rockmart working in maintenance, he definitely enjoyed his Walmart family and customers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Johnny “Bubba” Shaw, Jr.

Stan is survived by his wife, Connie Short Shaw; sons, Adam Short and his wife Ashely and Michael Shaw; sister, Brenda Milam and her husband Sammy. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Services to celebrate Stan’s life will be held in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 6:30 PM with Rev. Ronald Head officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and mask will be required.
