Mrs. Martha Joan Chandler McKelvey, age 75, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020. She was born on June 17, 1945 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late John D. and Minnie Hazel Steele Chandler.
Mrs. McKelvey is survived by her husband, Pat Rhodes McKelvey Jr.; son, John Christopher McKelvey (Kelly); grandchildren Chandler McKelvey and Campbell McKelvey.
Mrs. McKelvey is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Martha Joan Chandler McKelvey will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 1:00 in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Conner and Rev. Doyle Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Chandler McKelvey, Tim McKelvey, Van McKelvey, Jeff Tillery, and Owen Tillery.

Mrs. McKelvey’s family respectfully requests that floral arrangements be omitted and memorial contributions be made in her memory to Second Baptist Church of Cedartown at 152 Evergreen Lane, Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks requested for all services provided for Mrs. Martha Joan Chandler McKelvey.
