Mrs. Patricia Wallace

Mrs. Patricia Dianne Wallace, age 75 of Rockmart, Ga., passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021.

Mrs. Wallace was born January 6, 1946, in Atlanta to the late Hugh & Mary Murray and was also preceded in death by her husband Jack Wallace, brother Jan Murray and a Grandson Brandon Waters.

Surviving are her daughters Angie & Greg Goodwin, Kellie & Chris Scoggins and Nichole & Larry Holcomb Jr., sister Julia Crider, Nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren also surviving.

Memorial services for Patricia Wallace will be conducted Saturday March 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Lester Litesey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.

Mr. Alan Dale “Al” Statham

Mr. Alan Dale “Al” Statham, age 64, of Aragon, GA passed away Friday afternoon, February 6, 2026.

Al was born in Rome, GA on July 24, 1961, to the late Billy Statham and Margaret Mitchell Statham. He spent his entire life in Polk County and was a graduate of Rockmart High School, Class of 1979.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball, but most of all, his greatest joy was watching his granddaughter play softball. He had his special place at the end of his fence where he loved watching Kiley play. He also enjoyed shooting pool with Braidyn and loved working outside.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his nephew, Seth Hitchcock.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kris Statham, to whom he married on March 20, 1982; his daughter, Hannah (Corey) Price; 3 grandchildren, Kiley Statham, Braidyn Statham, and Brian Bowman; his brothers, Phil (Loye) Statham, Mickey (Jerri) Statham; and his sister, Patricia (Eldon) Watts. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Statham will be Monday, February 9, 2026 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Jones officiating and eulogies given by Kiley Statham, Braiden Statham, and Mark Gray.

The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
