Nancy Lee Houser

Ms. Nancy Lee Quillin Houser, age 92 of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.  

Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Nancy was a graduate of Huntington High School and attended Marshall University.  As an Army wife for 25 years, she shared a life of service and adventure moving to numerous military posts throughout the United States and Germany.  Wherever she lived, Nancy was known for her kindness, warmth and friendly nature, and she was genuinely liked by all who knew her. 

Nancy was devoted to her family and took great joy in her role as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She is survived by her daughters, Christy McCown (Bill) of Silverhill, Alabama, Mary “Bunny” Miller (Steven) of Marietta, Georgia and Jennifer Houser of California; sons, John R. Houser (Carla) of Marietta, Georgia and Tom Houser (Susan) of Flowery Branch, Georgia.  She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Thurman Lee Quillin, her mother, Helen Williams Lambert and brother, Jim Patterson.

Services will be held at Springhill Cemetery in Huntington, West Virginia at a later date. 

Nancy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, gracious heart, and the love shared so freely with family and friends.
