Mr. Ollie R. Michael

Mr. Ollie Randell Michael, age 83 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

He was born on April 17, 1941 in Albertville, Alabama. He was the son of the late Homer C. and Claris A. Johnson Michael.

Mr. Michael is survived by his daughter, Angie Toth (Daniel); sisters, Margaret Pendley, Marlene Wilkerson, Janette Barrett and Annette Colbeck; brother, Delbert Michael; grandchildren, Jennifer Driskell, Christopher Farrell, and Brent Farrell; great-grandchildren, Emily Driskell, Colton Driskell, Autumn Driskell, Lance Farrell, Arianna Farrell, and Lilly Farrell. Numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members also survive.

Mr. Michael is preceded in death by his wife, Modena Joyce Michael; parents; sister, Omie Dee Hamer; brothers, Arzell Michael, Noel Michael, Kenith Michael, J.L. Michael, Ricky Micael and Tony Ray Michael.

A graveside service for Mr. Michael will be held on Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11 o’clock in the morning in the family lot of Northview Cemetery with Rev. Justin Grant officiating.

Mr. Jack Howard Davis

Mr. Jack Howard Davis, age 86, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Friday morning, January 16, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be held on Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. His son, Michael Davis will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Davis’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
