Opportunities await for enjoying some homegrown artwork that is themed around the traditions of the season during the latest Rockmart Cultural Arts Center exhibit now available for the public to view.
Additionally, an upcoming event on Saturday, November 15 will give holiday shoppers the chance to grab some items as well.
The RCAC is celebrating Christmas time with this year’s Holiday Traditions Art Exhibit being showcased in the Rockmart Art Gallery starting today (November 6) and continuing through the rest of the season until December 20.
Additionally, the RCAC is set to host their Indoor Holiday Festival next Saturday, Nov. 15 from 12 to 5 p.m. All three floors of the RCAC will have artists from across Northwest Georgia selling a variety of handmade gifts, plus providing demonstrations as well. Refreshments are provided and live music will be playing throughout the event.
The festival includes free craft opportunities for youth and a visit from Santa Claus as well.
The Rockmart Art Gallery will be open to view artwork from a variety of mediums across Northwest Georgia during this year’s holiday exhibit.
Gallery hours are Tuesdays 1 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Groups who want to see the exhibit and wish to arrange a date and time to come to the gallery can call 770-684-2707 or email rcac@rockmart-ga.gov with any questions.
