Ms. Rebecca Joann Campbell

Ms. Rebecca Joann Campbell, age 70 of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.  

She was born on August 20, 1954 in Boaz, Alabama.  She was the daughter of Jewell Dean Bowlen Campbell and the late Travis Campbell. 

Ms. Campbell is survived by her family, Michael Festa, Jerry Festa, Kandi Haney, Jewell Dean Campbell, Dyann Chambers (Billy), Mike Campbell, Mary Shaw (Ricky), Karen Jones, Kathy Griffin (James), Nancy Verdin, Renae Campbell, Cindy Campbell, Cathy Campbell, several nieces, nephews and other extended family members. 

Ms. Campbell is preceded in death by her father and nephews, Wayne Chambers and Shane Shaw. 

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Campbell will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev.  Barry Snapp and Rev. Billy Chambers officiating. 

Interment will follow in the family lot of the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Campbell will receive family and friends on Friday, September 20, 2024 from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home. 

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jimmy Jones, Derek Griffin, Brent Verdin, Drapper Campbell, Anthony Campbell, Travis Carter, and Hunter Bond.  Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Chambers, Evan Jones, Jesse Jones, Gage Eaves, Logun Shaw, Lucas Griffin, Corey Shaw, Layne Carter, Mason Causey and Declan Shaw.

Mr. Jack Howard Davis

Mr. Jack Howard Davis, age 86, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Friday morning, January 16, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be held on Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. His son, Michael Davis will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Davis’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
