A reward is being offered for the return of an SUV, a diamond bracelet and firearms taken from a home in the Everett Mountain Road area while the owner has been in the hospital.

Kelly Haas Shackelford posted on her Facebook page that a $2,000 reward is being offered for the return of a 2010 GMC Acadia SUV, the diamond bracelet and three handguns taken from the residence of her boyfriend in the Everett Mountain Road area, who has been recovering in the hospital for nearly a month.

Shackelford said the first break-in occurred after she left to join him at the hospital on August 8, and returned home on August 9 to find the first break-in occurred with the missing handguns and the bracelet.

On August 10, she left again in the afternoon and came back home on August 11 to find that this time, the SUV was missing.

The 2010 GMC Acadia is described as being dark navy in color and bears tag number RLG2120.

Shackelford has reported the thefts to the Polk County Police.
