Homecoming Week returns this week to Rockmart High School, and downtown will host the annual Homecoming Parade once again coming up on Tuesday evening.

The parade – starting in front of the old Rockmart High and now city hall – will continue down East Elm Street, North Marble and return back to city hall starting at 7 p.m.

Along with the parade, RHS celebrates Homecoming Week with theme days for students ahead of the football team’s return to The Rock this Friday.

Time Twisted Tuesday kicks off the week of festivities. Seniors will be asked to don 80s apparel, juniors will be in 70s apparel, the sophomore class will be asked to dress in 60s apparel, and freshmen will be asked to dress in styles from the 1950s.

Parade-goers should consider wearing masks and social distancing along the route as COVID-19 continues to pose a threat around the community.
