The City of Rockmart will be hosting an evening of community fun to celebrate Georgia Cities Week at the newest facility within the city limits.
All are invited to participate in the free evening at the new Rockmart Amphitheater at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21.
The amphitheater can be accessed via West Church Street, turning onto MLK Jr. Street and then Bluff Street, parking at the Church Street Trailhead. Additional parking can be found downtown, and accessing the amphitheater via Seaborn Jones Park and crossing under the West Church Street Bridge.

Tuesday’s event includes live music from Them Mixon Boys, hot dogs and drinks, city vehicles on hand for kids to enjoy a Touch-a-Truck in the parking lot, plus take part in the Downtown Development Authority’s City Adventure Guide and return it to be entered to win for a gift basket drawing.
Those who want to win have to get signatures from every city department tent and return those in the guide to be eligible to win.
City officials will also be on hand during Tuesday’s event.
