Sherry Gaylor

Mrs. Sherry Gaylor, age 67, of Lindale, GA, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Sherry was born in Norfolk, Virginia on April 26, 1957, daughter of the late Percy Olin Balch and Ida Ruth Hovis Balch.

Sherry had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed having a good time riding around listening to music.

In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Watson, Jr.; son, Ronald Tolbert; and sister, Angela Fore.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Kisha Tolbert; grandchildren, Scott Fore and Alexis Farmer; great grandchild, Trey Fore; siblings, Michael Balch and wife, Patricia, Marcella Fox and husband, Duck; nieces and nephews, Dixie & Edward Fox, William Balch and Cynthia Dabbs. Several cousins and great nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Sherry will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. central time in the sanctuary of New Bethel Baptist Church, 811 Mahaffey Rd, Eastaboga, Alabama. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: Rocky Balch, Edward Fox, Ethan Stephens, Christian Fox, Adam Dabbs, and William Balch. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Hudgins and William Balch. 

Sherry’s family will receive friends at the church just prior to her service, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. central time.
