Ms. Vicki June Coheley

Ms. Vicki June Coheley, age 75 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025.  

She was born on June 14, 1949 in Anniston, Alabama.  She was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Dovie Ponder Coheley. 

Ms. Coheley attended Jacksonville State University before entering the workforce as a typist.

She spent many years working for AT&T and retired as an IT engineer.

Ms. Coheley enjoyed painting, playing the piano, as well as singing in her church choir. She was an avid animal lover, with a passion for rescuing and caring for cats. 

Ms. Coheley is survived by her son, Jeremy Brent Walker (Allyson); two grandchildren, Elliott Walker and Isaac Walker; and brother, Woody Coheley. 

Ms. Coheley is preceded in death by her parents and son, Vance Walker.

The family of Ms. Vicki June Coheley will receive family and friends on Monday, February 17, 2025 from two o’clock in the afternoon until three o’clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home. In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Coheley will be cremated following the visitation.

Mr. Jack Howard Davis

Mr. Jack Howard Davis, age 86, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Friday morning, January 16, 2026, at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis will be held on Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. His son, Michael Davis will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Davis’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
