Mr. Warren Hunt Walker, age 61, of Newnan, GA, passed away Saturday, May 16, with his loving family at his side.
Mr. Walker was born November 11, 1964, the son of the late Wallace Walker and the late Mary Frances Hunt Walker.
A 1982 graduate of Cedartown High School, Mr. Walker spent the majority of his life serving his community in Cedartown. Many may remember his years of faithful service at the Casey’s Food Store in Cedartown, as well as the local Piggly Wiggly and the Ball Corp. metal container service.
In his more recent years, Mr. Walker devoted his time as Director of Sober Living America, residing in Newnan, GA, but still keeping close ties to Cedartown. A true man of faith, Mr. Walker exemplified his devotion to the Lord as a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown.
He was also an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, hunting, and skydiving. His family fondly remembers his love of cheering on his favorite teams, the Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Bulldogs on game days, as well as laughing and enjoying The Simpsons.
Mr. Walker embodied enjoyment of life and finding his joys in the simple things. Above all, he was a staple of love, dedication, and hard work to his family and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker is preceded in death by his siblings, Stephen Smith, Barry Smith, and Stephen Walker.
Mr. Walker is survived by his life partner, Brenda Warren; loving children, Whitney Walker (Mike Davis), Chase Walker (Hannah), and Tristan Walker (Stormy); granddaughters, Hazel Davis and Addilyn Wood; siblings, Gary Walker, June Walker, Carol Atkins, Jan Stinson (Mike), and Wanda Ingram (Greg); sister-in-law, Donna Smith Crocker; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Walker will be cremated and a service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
