A noble idea with that rings true to the spirit of the holiday season for any family and faith is being proposed on Facebook, and might just be the way to bring everyone together at Christmas-time to promote community spirit and a combined effort to show support for one another and jolly ol’ Saint Nick for his ride around the globe on December 24.

Friends of Polk Today sent in this notice from the Polk’s Vent Page this morning, shared by Jannah Sorrell. (Note it is a private group, you have to ask permission to join.)

Jannah, why not the whole county? It also from a brief google search seems to be a popular idea across the pond in the United Kingdom as well.

So in the spirit of the holiday season, take part in this campaign on Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. Polk.Today might even do a special livestream from downtown Cedartown or Rockmart (a coin flip) of the event, and churches should also consider getting in on the idea as well.
