The Second Baptist Church of Cedartown is hosting a Drive-In night this coming Saturday to help a local organization raise money to provide services for expecting families.
The church will be showing the movie “Unplanned” on October 17 starting at 7:30 p.m., with a price of $25 a car load.
Proceeds will benefit Life Matters Outreach Pregnancy Care Center in Cedartown, who provides a variety of services to families expecting a child, along with donations for new parents and through the first several years of a child’s life. The center also provides parenting classes each for future moms and dads.
“Unplanned” is based on the true story of a Planned Parenthood director turned anti-abortion activist Abby Johnson, and is based on her book of her experiences of the same name.
The movie is appropriate for those 14 years of age and older. Concessions will be sold prior to and during the movie.
