Rockmart Fire and Rescue arrived on scene within the past hour and extinguished a fire at Hometown Pizza, according to Fire Chief Todd Queen.

He reported no one was injured and firefighters remained on the scene helping employees cleanup aftet the incident, which has forced Hometown Pizza to close.

No immediate cause for the fire was reported, though it was isolated to the kitchen area.
